This website is meant to supplement the Collaborative Summer Library Program Manual. Some ideas will reference straight back to the CSLP Manual with appropriate pages, other ideas may have been submitted by other librarians or found through other sources.
More than just a summer reading program
Some ideas offered in the CSLP Manual may not work for your library to present during the summer, but don't just forget about them. Any of the patriotic crafts and ideas would be fun to use during a special Veterans Day or Memorial Day program. If you provide a special firefighter storytime during Fire Safety Month, refer back to the manual for material to use.
